Lest We Forget

Zed 98.9 encourages you to wear a poppy this Remembrance Day to honour the service and sacrifice of those who have served our country.

Join Tony at the Veterans Voices of Canada Military Museum at Parkland Mall on Friday, November 7th from 11am-2pm to purchase a poppy or make a donation. Veterans Voices of Canada is a non-profit organization dedicated to documenting and preserving the stories of Canadian veterans.

You can also experience a moment of reflection every day at 1pm until November 10th, as a piper plays for 11 minutes of remembrance.
