4th Annual Lindsay Thurber Megabowl Charity Hockey Game
Entertaining the masses and giving back to the community! This year, a group of talented and hardworking
student-athletes are honoured to represent Lindsay Thurber with pride, sportsmanship, passion, and
commitment. They are determined to regain the title of 2026 Megabowl Champions after a crushing loss
last year to the Lindsay Thurber Staff All-Star Selects.

Our Premier Recipient - KidSport Red Deer
KidSport supports children who need financial assistance with sport registration fees
and equipment costs. They believe that the power of sport participation promotes
the development of children's social, mental and physical well being. KidSport
provides grants of between $250 - $500 to help cover sport registration and
equipment costs so that all kids aged 18 and under can play a season of sport.

Past Megabowl Charity Recipients
The Red Deer Food Bank, the Central Alberta Humane Society, & the Central Alberta
Women’s Emergency Shelter have welcomed the support of the staff and students since
the Megabowl’s inception.
